Brief fitness preview. I love Gym. I love Gym so very much and we’ve only known each other for just a few months!
Tonight marks a very successful flex Friday for me. It is very possible that I’m feeling over the moon after tonight’s lifting session because I missed almost all week last week. Nevertheless, I’m feeling the endorphins and dare I say it, they are better than coffee.
Tonight I was going to do legs and butt which usually consists of:
- Squats (50-100)
- Lunges (50-100)
- Bridges (50-100)
- Step-ups (30-60)
- Stairs (10)
- Leg-lifts (30)
Note: I worked up to doing 100 reps every other day for about a month, don’t bite off more than you can chew. Sometimes I break up the sets or switch the exercises if I’m bored but that’s pretty much what I do for legs and butt.
Flex Friday turned into chest and back with a little bit of abs and I’m so happy it did!
Back:
- Pull-downs (3s of 8r)
- Flies (3s of 10r)
- Resistance bands (3s of 25r)
- Lawnmowers (3s of 10r)
Chest:
- Press (3s of 10r)
- Varied push-ups (100)
- Tree-huggers (3s of 10r)
Lower Abs:
- V-ups (3s of 10r)
- Leg-lifts (3s of 30r)
- Plank (60 second)
I went up in weight with chest press, I also improved my push-up form. I did 3 sets of 50 for glutes too. Also I did 3 different exercises for lower abs. Tomorrow is supposed to be ab day but man, I just really want to chisel the low area.
Keep at it people. Hustle for that muscle. The only bad workout is the one you didn’t do. Plank me later.
